Why does my battery keep dying even though it is new?
Because the battery was probably never the problem. Either the alternator is not charging it back up properly, or something in the car is drawing current after you switch it off, which is called a parasitic drain. Both are measurable in one visit. Replacing a second battery without testing for these just buys another few weeks.
How can I tell if it is the starter or the battery?
A battery problem usually cranks slowly and gets worse in the cold, and the dash lights dim heavily when you turn the key. A starter problem more often gives you a single loud click with the dash lights staying bright, or nothing at all while everything else works normally. A load test settles it in a few minutes.
Do you fix wiring problems, or only replace parts?
We trace and repair wiring. Chafed harnesses, corroded grounds and rodent-chewed looms are common on Detroit winter cars and they cause faults that look like a dozen unrelated failures at once. Finding them is slower than swapping a part, but it is the actual fix.
My car will not start at all. Can you tow it in?
